Violette Van Parys lives and works in Paris.
And yes, Violette Van Parys is her real name!

During her childhood she becomes passionate about her russian great grand father, who served the tsar, stories and develops a taste for fantasy. While some are proud to have been real tomboys, Violette claims to have been a very girly girl who prefered skirts to trousers. In the family house, Violette grows up in the middle of various curiosities and spends most of her time in the attic with her cousins inventing princess outfits and creating a fantasy world.

After studying precious jewellery at the AFEDAP, she starts working for the accessory fabrication atelier for Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Chloé, Scherrer… She improves her technique and acquires experience with these tools and materials. Today, Violette Van Parys is distributed in France ( including Chantal Thomass, Maje… ) as well as in England (Topshop in London selected her jewels for Edit),  Japan, Spain, Italia, Lebanon, Qatar, Taiwan, Belgium, Spain, USA…

Disney asked her to create porcelain jewels inspired by Alice in Wonderland, The Princess & the Frog, and Mickey & Minnie.
